48 hours per week – £12/hour

Basic Function

The loader’s role is pivotal in supporting the Transport Department, ensuring the completion of the daily duties set by the Transport Manager for both commercial collections. The loader’s contributions are instrumental in CWM Environmental meeting its obligations under the relevant Rules and Regulations.

General Duties:

· Ensuring all daily tasks are completed within set deadlines.

· To assist with the Commercial element of the Business by providing exceptional customer care/service, thereby contributing to our customers’ satisfaction and loyalty.

· To communicate any issues that may need clarifying/escalating to the Commercial Department and Transport Department.

· To ensure all required relevant documentation is completed throughout the day.

· Responsible for working in line with the company’s health and safety culture at all times by understanding the company’s health and safety policy and ensuring that the arrangements detailed in it are adhered to within your area of responsibility.

· Working in line with the specific SSOWs (Safe Systems of Work) for the tasks.

· Ensure personal compliance with all company health and safety procedures.

· Ensure that the correct PPE provided is worn at all times.

· Ensuring that you adhere to all Company Policies.

· Display a positive attitude at all times.

Specific Duties:

· To ensure the transportation of the waste material on board the vehicle is done safely and efficiently at all times, working in conjunction with the Driver.

· Identify defects on containers and report electronically via the PDA system for repairs.

· To be able to interact with customers positively and professionally.

· To complete all necessary paperwork/documentation provided when required, accurately and signed accordingly.

· To instruct the driver on their next call/planned route and communicate any relevant notes received by the customer or specific instructions needed for the call.

· To complete the electronic PDA system log against all calls, collate descriptive notes as and when required (if the job was not completed) accompanied with photo evidence.

· To use the ‘what 3 words’ system to locate routes and update when required.

· Banksman

· Complete vehicle checks via Asset Go when using company vehicles using the electronic PDA system to report any relevant information back to the commercial department

Other Duties:

· To undertake any other duties that may be required and which are consummate with the post position within the company.

Pay: £12.00 per hour
